Escape from Embarassment

been quite sometime since i have blogged...was stuck with work? not really...i dont know...did have some work...

but something that hpnd today that compelled me to write...

i generally come to office early arnd 8am and go for breakfast arnd 9.30...and did the same today too...went to the restaurant, ordered a masala dosa (was bored of eating the same set dosa daily....) and after having given the order i remembered that i forgot to fill....not my bike...but my purse :)....i dint have cash...and card was accepted only for bill more than a Rs 100...and i dont think i can eat 5 dosas to make it hundred or even if i have 2 milkshakes it would come only to arnd 60 - 70 bucks....now this was really very embarassing...and i cant leave for the atm now...so called my roommate...we both work in the same company but different projects...

a long call....kept ringing...felt like ages....and he wasnt picking up...then i rmbrd he goes to gym in the morning so probably on the way to office...but watever...i needed help...atlast i rmbrd a colleague of mine had come to office by then...and luckily too i had his number....called him up and asked him to comeover...this was again another embarassment...u can ask ur frens...they wudnt mind or rather you wudnt mind asking them...but colleagues...

but i guess this embarassment was better than the one that could have been if i had noticed that i had no cash after the waiter had brought the bill...

(a big sigh of relief....................)

Hehe, this is most embarrassing embarrassment for me. For this reason I make it thousand times sure that I have 'this' security.

But you made life difficult for me by making me think of set dosa and masala dosa, oh, how much I miss them.

(The other problem in India is that you can never be sure of your cards being accepted at any place)
